What are Ductless Systems?

Ductless systems have a split design that does not include all the ductwork under your home or in your attic. These duct free systems, also called mini-splits, consist of at least one outdoor unit, and one or more indoor units inside your home or business. The indoor and outdoor systems are connected with insulated copper lines that transfer refrigerant to and from the units.

Multi zone systems have two or more indoor units for each outdoor unit. This is easily accomplished since each indoor air handler can be set to its own temperature and work independently from the other units. This way everyone can be comfortable.
